Fever Blisters!!!

I’ve been a bit quiet on my oily page but it doesn’t mean I have not used my oils.

I USE my oils everyday... getting to know them and really testing the results before coming on here and share my testimonies!

And this is a day for a...

“Testimony Thursday”

So I woke up on Tuesday morning with that horrible tingling sensation on my upper lip. It’s the first sign that my immune system is down and a cold brewing!

I hate a fever blister and I hate the way they look! My confidence takes a knock every single time I get one of these horrid things!!!

Since I have been a little girl I get them and not small ones!! They get huge and they are super painful...

Usually it takes a day for the swelling to reach its peak another day for the blister and a week of literal pain. Then it takes another week to dry and crack and another week to heal.

I just knew I needed to look for a solution and desperately searched for an oil...

And who did I find!!!

Our beloved fever buster called thieves!

I popped a drop of this blend formulated by Young Living onto my lips for the past two days and I’m amazed.... not only did it numb the pain, controlled the swelling but my lip is already better and healing.

Bye bye 👋 3 weeks of torture and hello to my new bestie!!!

Once again thieves for the win!!!!

I AM seriously impressed with lemon essential oil🍋

I know this is super gross (especially the Tupperware lid) but you guys know it.....

We are on holiday in George and our house been unoccupied since December! Thank you COVID....

What to do if your little one comes home from school with tears in his eyes and a broken heart?

Being bullied happens at such a young age and remaining the adult is very difficult especially if it happens day after day!
•
All I wanna do is storm up to this “little bully”... Lift his feet off the ground by pulling his ear and tell him that if he ever makes my little boy cry again I’ll.....
•
But what I really did... is talkedto the teacher, told my little one to ignore. That nothing he says to my boy is the truth. That he is made in the image of God. That kids who are hurting, hurts other kids.... and then we prayed together...

We prays and still praying for the heart of my little one and we pray for the heart of the other little boy who is also dealing with BIG EMOTIONS

It’s not easy and the bullying is probably not over yet but we are guided and protected by GOD daily

I also asked him what I could do to help it make things easier at school and it was as simple as this... Can mommy make me a happy roller?

It’s that time of the month when I get super excited! My essential rewards order arrived!!! Even though I know what I have ordered I get to restock old favorites and add new oils to my growing collection! And.... get some freebies 😁💃🏼

~HAIR GROWTH~

I finally got to mix up this spray for my hubby love!!! This combination of oils are proven for hair growth and thickening! (Can’t wait to see the results-the proof is always in the pudding 😉)

I have added cedarwood, lavender and peppermint oil to my shampoo and have seen a significant growth in my hair during 6 weeks 😱 - FOR REAL!!!

Since then my hubby have been waiting patiently for his spray 🤦🏼‍♀️ (sorry my love and thank you for being so patient with me 💕)

The thing was/is that I have been doing alot of research on hair growth and stimulation and rosemary kept making its appearance which sadly we dont have in SA...YET!!!

But as my hubby’s demands increased so did my research of finding substitutes for rosemary...

I stumbled upon geranium and ylang-ylang to substitute the properties of rosemary which I included in this spray!!!

We are very excited to see what this brings!!!

Ps. I have taken a before photo of hubby’s “thinning hair patch” but promised to show it only when there is more hair 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
HAIR GROWTH RECIPE

•7 drops lavender
•7 drops cedarwood
•7 drops peppermint
•3 drops geranium
•3 drops ylang ylang
•2 tablespoons witch hazel
•Top up 100ml bottle with distilled water
•Spray over scalp in the evening before going to bed and wash hair as per normal in the morning

~EPSOM SALT DELIGHT~

Remember my thrifted glass jar?

So I filled it up with Epsom salt and placed all my empty lavender bottles in it! (Yip we use a lot of lavender in this house! After all, it is the Swiss Army knife of oils and use it for soooooo many things but mostly use it for sleep and emotional support at night in our diffuser😜)

This is a clever little trick to get every last drop out of your empty bottles!
You won’t believe how much oil gets drawn out into the salt.

And VOILA!!! Infused bath salt with lavender’s calming benefits!
