SUMMER BASICS!

When you choose basics for a season, it is wise to keep it in a neutral colour. The reason being that you can wear it with almost any colour, so there is no reason to believe that having a basic neutral closet, you will always look like a beige school wall!

Neutrals are fantastic as a basic line. Besides looking wonderful all by themselves, it is the easiest thing to turn a basic outfit, into something classy, colourful and cool.

Must Have's for Summer!

There are a few items without which we just cannot go through summer.

Although the list is far from comprehensive, I've listed a few of the basics we just have to have in our closet this summer.

It doesn't matter which season you are, just make sure you pick the right shade!

Right at the top of my list, is, like last summer, still the indispensable white Tee-shirt, white jeans and white sneakers!

I have chosen white, blue, navy and red as my summer colours. Take a look!

The Summer is Blue!

I've been in the shops recently and I see blue, blue, blue everywhere! What cooler colour for summer than blue!
Pair light blue with white for a cool summer look; pair navy with white for an ever-stylish outfit. Add a touch of red in a handbag, a pair of shoes or a short, summer cardie!

And don't forget red lips!

This spring marks a return to femininity and womanhood in beautiful dresses. Make sure you add a few to your closet.

Faux Fur!

Can you believe it!? Faux fur is making a huge and dramatic come-back after years of being a complete no-go for women!

Make sure you have at least one item in your winter closet from faux fur. Whether it be a a shawl, a jacket or a gorgeous full-length coat.

Style it up over smart evening wear or dress it down over a pair of skinny jeans and over-the knee boots. It is smart and versatile and lovely to wear.

One of the top colours to choose would be a rich tan with darker brown and/or black in between.
