The infamous topic of hair oils.

Using oils on your scalp isn't bad. It's actually recommended, especially if you're using the oils to spread your sebum from your scalp to the ends of your hair.

The key is moderation, using too much oil over your scalp, and hair will just cause problems like dandruff, stunted hair growth, or worse.

If you use oils on your scalp/in your hair, which oil is your favorite..?

Do you know what Sebum is, what it does, or what happens if you have too much of it..?

It's been a busy week. (Limited Soap, Face cream and hair oil available) orders are going out this week.

No body likes an itchy scalp, let alone a flaky one. So what should you do when your scalp looks like this..? ⬇️

If you're prefer natural remedies, try one of these:
▪ Mix a few drops of tea tree essential oil into your shampoo.
▪ Use an Apple Cider Vinegar Rice once a week (dilute 1 part ACV in 2 parts Water before pouring it on your scalp).
▪ Make DIY a hair oil by mixing 6 drops of Tea Tree, and 4 drops of Lavender Essential oils into 100ml of Coconut oil or Olive oil.

If you don't have time for the DIY's then try these options:
▪ Use an anti-fungal cream (eg Funbact) on your scalp twice a week. (alternatively, you can mix a little Funbact into your hair food and use that twice a week)
▪ Use a Hair "Food" that has Sulfur (like Sulfur 8 or Movit Sulfur hair pomade).
▪ Use an Anti-Dandruff shampoo (It should have one of these ingredients within the top five of the ingredient list: Sulfur, Salicylic acid, Coal tar, Selenium sulfide, Zinc Pyrithione, Ketoconazole, Tea Tree oil or, Climbazole).
