Hey! My name is Espina Mwewa a second year public relations and advertising student at the University of Zambia and I curate this page.
I’m a hair fanatic and ever since I was a little girl I’ve always wanted my hair to look good, my mom would perm it and style it just as I would request. As I grew older I also grew out of perming my hair and realized the damage it was actually doing despite looking good it was not really good, it was weak, dry and brittle. There weren’t many products on the market designed to care for textured hair, if they were there they were too expensive so I went online and experimented with product recipes to make at home and my hairs health has greatly improved and I’m happy to see a lot of people now embracing their natural hair!
I made this page to share what I have learnt with mostly students who cannot afford those expensive natural hair products out there, your hair is part of your aesthetic, it tells a story of who you are and where you come from so you need to take care of it so that you can tell the right story.
