Did you know that your scent is a part of your brand ??

26/08/2020

Have you ever wondered why people give you a negative comment about your scent??
Have you ever wondered why you draw the wrong attention when you are at work or running your errands??

The reason is you wear a scent at the wrong place. Perfumes have occasions that they fit for example a fruity scent can be your everyday scent because it's usually soft depending on the other notes its blended with.

So when you wear a scent its very important that you consider the weather , time of day as well as the place that you are going. Considering these factors will help you wear a scent that makes you relevant to the situation; you wouldn't want to paint the wrong picture where ever it is that you will be . So here are a few pointer :

A musky fragrance (musk is a pheromone) is most appropriate when you are going on a date or when you hitting the club and just want that aphrodisiac effect. Musk is usually strong so you can wear it when temperatures drop, at night usually. It being a pheromone will definitely make you unforgettable.

Floral scents are usually worn during the day when you want to hang out with friends and family on a hot afternoon or running a few errands during the day. The notes are strong but do not over power your company's senses hence you do not come across as offensive. Floral scents do not fend quite well in winter, they get worn out quickly.

Woody perfumes are usually strong and are good for those meetings were you want just want to be taken serious. They also carry a touch of rawness to them which makes them a go to for most men.

NB: there is no scent family that is assigned to a particular gender. What is important is understanding when and where it is relevant as well as the other scents that are mixed with it to make your favourite perfume.

Did you know, that the number 1 reason behind the stains on your clothes in the armpit area is wearing perfume in your armpits ???

17/08/2020

Have you ever worn your scent and then after 3 hours the smell is not as pleasant as it has to be?? The problem is not with the perfume its with the way you wear your fragrance.

So when wearing a scent it is advised to apply it on your pulse points; that is the inner wrists, base of your throat, behind the knees, in the cleavage and inner elbows.

NB : Avoid wearing your scent in your armpits because the sweat will react with your fragrance and you will end up smelling unpleasant.

Hie guys 😊😊

Growing up I fell in love with fragrances. I wanted everything scented well but because of hay fever (rhinitis) I couldn't explore my love. My allergy is so bad that I have difficulties finding a perfume that does not irritate me. Most of the times I don't even find one so I ended up giving up on perfumes. I started using roll on's ( I don't go down without a fight 😉😉) only but with time I started developing lymph nodes, itchiness and rushes in my armpits whenever I used them so I had to ditch roll on too. I mostly use heat powders now which is very heartbreaking for a fragrance fanatic.

During my A-break I had an Idea of making my own scent but because of lack resources I had to halt that thought. Whilist doing my researches on fragrance related issues I realised that there are other people like me who love perfumes but cannot use them because of health and skin complications. That's when LODE FRAGRANCES was born; a fragrance line that has perfume lovers who are limited by health and skin complications at heart 😊😊😊.
