N'ongo, Chirungurira, acids, and gastritis, have heard a number of terms over the years. But all are as a result of one thing acid reflux(gastric fuid escaping into your esophagus) and irritation of your stomach lining.

As basic medical guidance and probably common knowledge some foods and meals will aggravate the condition e.g fatty meals(fast foods), spicy meals, dairy products, tea and caffeinated drinks, and alcohol.

I always say you will curtail certain foodstuffs as you see need,for example one will complain of symptoms after a meal rich in tomatoes while the next patient will be fine.
