And that's a wrap. From Valenca do Minho to Spain and Moncao. My heart is so full. I love coming to Europe everytime. The history, the food, the vinho tinto. So many new memories made. It's so hard to come back to Canada. I always feel my heart was meant to be here. Ate amanha...xo

Went to a little w**e shop in the fortress. The man was very knowledgeable and helpful. Lots of choices to choose from. Really cool to see the aged port.🍾🍷🍾🍷

So many things to see in Espana. The culture, the food, the history. My heart is full..xo

Espana/Spain

Went to Fortaleza de Valenca. This fortress was built in 1661. It wasn't defending a town but the Portugal border itself. Filled with shops and restaurants now. It was really neat to see. They used to have decommisoned cannon's there but they have been removed to preserve them. Roughly 365 years old. History at its finest.

Today we got to Gil Eannes. A decommissioned ship that is now in Viana do Castelo. It's primarily a museum ship. Built in 1955, it served as the flagship for the Portuguese codfishing fleet the icy waters of Newfoundland and Greenland. It was very impressive. Stepping into an era of time. Everything left as it was.
