Happy Halloween from Meridian! 🎃 Our team took the dance party outside today. Here's a treat for your spine before tonight: if you're carrying a candy bucket or a little one on your hip, switch sides every block so one shoulder isn't doing all the work. Keep the trick-or-treat route in comfy shoes, not costume boots, and stand tall at each door instead of hunching over the bowl. Your back will thank you on November 1st. Sore after the big night? Call (904) 379-9412 and we'll help you feel like yourself again. Live Empowered.

The Meridian crew had way too much fun today 🎃 Superheroes, villains and a couple of plumbers, all still taking care of spines between photo ops. Have a safe and happy Halloween, Jacksonville! Call (904) 379-9412 to book your visit. Live Empowered.

Rear-ended on the way to work? Here's the honest truth: "I feel fine" right after a crash doesn't always last. Neck and back pain can creep in over the next few days.

Florida drivers also have a clock running. PIP generally requires you to get medical care within 14 days of the accident.

Our team in Southside and Orange Park sees accident patients every week, often the same day you call. We accept PIP / auto insurance and work with attorneys when you have one.

Spent the day back in the classroom 🧠 Learning from Dr. Emas and Dr. Dellorso about brain injuries after car accidents, and honestly, it's eye-opening how often a "minor" fender bender leaves people with headaches, brain fog or trouble focusing weeks later.

If you've been in an accident and just don't feel like yourself, don't brush it off. Come talk to us.

How did your body show up for you today?

Stiffness. Fatigue. That ache you keep ignoring.

That's not normal. That's a signal.

This week, choose differently.
Chiropractic care. Dry needling. Real relief — not just management.

Your body deserves to end the week stronger than it started it.

Just got injured? Here's what to do in the first 48 hours.

1. Ice (not heat) — 15 min on, 15 min off, repeat
2. Avoid anti-inflammatories unless necessary — they slow healing
3. Move gently — immobility makes it worse
4. Get assessed ASAP — early intervention prevents chronic pain
5. Document everything — photos, pain levels, timeline

You can't control what happened. You CAN control what happens next.

You don't need a perfect Monday to start moving.

You need a decision.

Every rep, every adjustment, every step forward — that's you choosing your body over your limits.

Midweek starts now. Don't wait until you feel ready.
