Radiance is open today, fully in support of the national strike against the broligarchy. For more than nineteen years, we have provided safe space, supported freedom and justice, and worked hard to create our piece the world we want to be living in.
We talked about whether we would be closed today, and decided that it would actually be counter-productive. We are a small business, and every decision we make, every product we carry supports that vision.
One of the ways that you can make a huge difference is to use cash rather than bank or debit cards. Not just today, but every day. The corporate financial structure will FEEL that.
We ask you to be mindful, shop local, and use cash whenever possible.

We've just received these beautiful handmade kantha comfort pillows. They are heart-shaped, filled with rice and lavender flowers, and perfectly shaped to hold against your aching heart or to lay over your eyes and face. They can be warmed in a microwave, or cooled in the freezer. Each comfort pillow is unique, with a plain cotton back, and traditional kantha-stitched front. Renew is a Chicago area non-profit employing refugee artisans.
Because each one is unique, it doesn't make sense to add these to our website. You'll need to come into the shop, or call us on the phone to make your selection.
Radiance will open at 11am today.

We are approaching Imbolc, the Celtic holiday marking the halfway point between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox. Can you feel it? Do you sense it in the growing light? The constant promise that Spring will follow Winter. The word Imbolc means “in the belly” reminding us that new life is growing, waiting to be born when the moment is right.
Imbolc is sacred to the goddess Bridgid, and we find many ways to honor her, to ask for her help, and to give thanks for her many blessings. You’ll find lots of books, oracles, jewelry, and devotional statues here at Radiance.
Stop into the shop or explore the website. And watch our social media – we’ll be posting some ideas for you to incorporate into your own practices!
