Wedding season is officially in full swing, and today’s Saturday shift at the salon was one for the books!

I started the day with an incredible transformation for a new client who wanted to make the jump to blonde. There is truly nothing better than that fresh, bright “before and after” reveal!
The rest of my day was spent at the studio with a stunning, low-key bride who didn’t even do a trial—she was just heading to a beautiful dinner party in the city. Her vibe was completely natural and effortless. We had her booked for a 2.5-hour block and managed to fit in a full toner, a deep treatment, a full face of makeup, and a blowout styled with some soft, effortless towel waves. We got her out the door right on time for her elopement wedding dinner!

What a fantastic day in the studio. I’ve been booked solid in this industry since 2010, and while it changes every single year, I am absolutely vibing with these micro weddings lately. It’s allowing me to find myself again as an artist and create at a whole different level. There is seriously nothing more rewarding than a full day of happy clients—whether it’s a detailed cut and color or a bride who just needs some perfect prep and styling.
