Every swirl has a mind of its own, every top gets finished by hand, and not a single bar comes out exactly like another. That's the beauty of handmade.

Many skincare brands buy pre-rendered tallow.
At Southern Roots Organic Cabinet, we start with raw grass-fed & finished beef kidney suet from local regenerative farmers.
Then we slow dry-render it ourselves in small batches.
That means we know exactly what is in our products from the get go. No water, no salt, and no chemicals — just gentle heat that naturally purifies the fat while helping preserve the vitamins and skin-loving nutrients that make traditional tallow so incredible for the skin and longer shelf life.
It takes more time and care... but that’s the old-fashioned way — and the only way we believe it should be done.

At Southern Roots Organic Cabinet, we love using organic babassu oil in place of traditional coconut oil in our cold process soaps. Sourced from the nuts of the babassu palm, this luxurious oil produces a rich, creamy lather while being gentler and more moisturizing for sensitive skin.

Even better? It helps our soaps achieve a naturally whiter, creamier base, enhancing both their look and feel — without the need for additives or whiteners. Babassu is our go-to for balancing cleansing power with nourishing comfort in every bar.
